Ginger Korljan has been helping people choose and land satisfying jobs since 1988, when she received a M.Ed. in Counselor Education and worked with students and alumni at a university career center. Since then Ginger has worked for outplacement and spousal relocation firms as a career consultant, and also assists private clients of her own. She calls herself a coach who also writes resumes, and has earned credentials as a Certified Career Management Coach and a Nationally Certified Resume Writer.Ginger Korljan is a firm believer that every resume needs to reflect a person's unique qualifications for a targeted job, and carefully evaluates that individual's background, interests, and passions related to the desired job. She takes time not only to interview a person in detail, but also often studies the industry, job title, and companies the person is targeting to identify key words, areas to emphasize, and the market outlook. She often gives suggestions on job search strategies, so after clients have a completed resume in hand they know exactly how to use it effectively to obtain an interview, and ultimately a rewarding job. Ginger also helps with technical aspects of the job search including company research, social networking, and interview coaching, giving her clients tools they need to manage their careers throughout their lives.
